The Fhecor-B2P 2022 team, with the help of @ken gendron and @balint penzes, is onsite in Rwanda to collaborate in the construction of the Marenge Trailbridge, over the Nyabugogo river. The Marenge Trailbridge is a 75-meter suspended bridge that will provide safe, year-round access for over 2000 members of surrounding communities.
When the team arrived to the site on the 2nd of May, the abutments were partially constructed, with the foundations finished.
Their work started with the placement and sag adjustment of the 4 cables. At the same time, suspenders were being bent and swings assembled. Soon, the decking will begin. Stay tuned!
