Through the Galician Agency of Infrastructures, the Xunta de Galicia has just awarded FHECOR in J.V. with GOC, S.A. the contract for drafting a new layout, construction, and environmental impact for the transformation of the Nadela-Sarria Corridor into a highway. More specifically, the section Nadela-A Pobra de San Xiao (Lugo).
The works will consist of doubling the current roadway of the corridor CG-2.2 between Nadela (where it joins with the A-6 highway) and the A Pobra de San Xiao and O Páramo to convert it into a separate highway class roadway that will be called AG-2.2 with a total section length of 13,500m. In addition, it will be necessary to design two viaducts parallel to the existing ones over the Chamoso river (250m) and the Neira river (164,50m), among other structures. The contract will have a completion period of 18 months.
