The Spanish General Directorate of Roads has just awarded us, together with SERS CONSULTORES EN INGENIERÍA Y ARQUITECTURA S.A.U., the contract DRAFTING OF THE DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF LOT: 1. AP-2 HIGHWAY. REFURBISHMENT OF THE CONNECTION WITH ARA A-1; CONNECTIONS OF OSERA DE EBRO AND CANDASNOS, between the provinces of Zaragoza and Huesca, with a completion period of 24 months.

The works include the construction of two new junctions (Osera de Ebro and Candasnos) and the refurbishment of another (ARA A-1) to improve local connectivity and redistribution of traffic demand within the area of influence of the AP-2 highway after the end of the concession as a toll highway, becoming part of the State Road Network.

This project will solve the current problems of the highway, with very long sections without accesses or with links far apart, achieving a more accessible, functional, and safe road network, given the increase in traffic due to the lifting of tolls.
