NEW CONTRACT: LEVEL CROSSING REMOVAL IN CENTRAL SPAIN

The Spanish Railway Infrastructures Administrator (ADIF) has awarded the contract to elaborate the alternative studies and construction projects of all the structures needed to remove the level crossings of lot 1 in central Spain. FHECOR Ingenieros Consultores obtained the greatest technical qualification, winning the contest. The contract was signed a few weeks ago, with a budget of more than €680,000 after taxes and a duration of 48 months.
The purpose of this contract is to eliminate numerous level crossings existing in the Spanish Public Interest Railway Network (RFIG) managed by ADIF, enhancing the safety and permeability of this network. The works comprise the redaction of the alternative studies and construction projects of all the structures necessary to remove the level crossings, such as underpasses and overpasses.
With this new contract, FHECOR reaffirms its experience in this type of projects, after almost 20 years working along with ADIF to improve the safety of the railway network all over Spain.
