The Modified Project carried out by FHECOR involved replacing part of the approach embankments to the viaduct with additional spans, increasing the structure from 13 spans to 18 spans. This expansion added 2 spans in the area of abutment 1 and 3 spans in the area of abutment 2.

The span lengths between beam supports are 32.60 m, 34.10 m, and 31.10 m. This results in 4 different beam types, depending on the calculated span based on whether the support is on a standard pier, a portal frame support (half-joint), or an abutment.

The viaduct features two types of piers: single-shaft piers and portal frame piers.

Piers P(-1), P0, P3 to P6, and P12 to P15 are single-shaft piers with conventional bearings, retaining the original project"s geometry for these piers. The design of the prefabricated portal frame piers was completely reworked, as site constraints required a redesign to facilitate the transport and installation of the prefabricated elements.
